GAF opens 2025 recruitment exercise

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced the commencement of its 2025 enlistment and recruitment exercise.
The official notice, published in the Daily Graphic of Wednesday, October 1, 2025, stated that the recruitment has been decentralised to all 16 regional capitals to ensure fairness and accessibility for qualified applicants across the country.
GAF cautioned the public against fraudulent messages and recruitment links circulating on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, stressing that such information is fake. The statement made clear that “no invitations are issued directly by officers of the Armed Forces or the High Command.”
According to the notice, the only authentic details of the recruitment exercise can be found in the Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times, as well as on the Armed Forces’ official websites: [www.gafonline.mil.gh](http://www.gafonline.mil.gh) and [www.gafrecruitment.mil.gh](http://www.gafrecruitment.mil.gh).
The publication emphasised that the exercise is guided by transparency and called on the public to support efforts to safeguard its integrity.
