‘We give glory to God’ – Dr. Apaak on safe arrival of quadruplets in Fumbisi

Deputy Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, has expressed gratitude to God following the safe discharge and return home of a set of quadruplets born at the War Memorial Hospital in Navrongo.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Apaak shared details of a visit to the maternity ward, where he met the babies, their parents, Bernice and Joseph, and the maternal grandmother.
He described the quadruplets as his “special constituents” and said the family was delighted by the visit.
According to the lawmaker, the encounter gave him the opportunity to assess the babies’ condition and congratulate the family on the successful delivery and recovery.
Dr. Apaak revealed that Bernice and Joseph used the occasion to express their profound appreciation to Dr. Thomas, who oversaw their care at the hospital.
The parents, he said, specifically requested that he thank the doctor on their behalf for the support and attention given to both the mother and the babies.
“Both Bernice and Joseph asked me to thank Dr. Thomas on their behalf in their presence. In fact, Dr. Thomas deserves commendation for doing a yeoman’s job,” he wrote.
The MP also extended his appreciation to the nurses and other healthcare professionals at the War Memorial Hospital, noting that their dedication played a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of the mother and her four babies.
He praised the medical team for providing quality healthcare throughout the period of admission and helping the family navigate the challenges associated with a multiple birth.
Dr. Apaak further disclosed that the quadruplets and their mother had been discharged from the hospital and had arrived safely in Fumbisi, bringing relief and happiness to relatives and well-wishers.
“I can report that they have since been discharged and have arrived safely in Fumbisi,” he stated.
Reflecting on the development, Dr. Apaak described the birth and recovery of the quadruplets as a miracle that has brought joy to many people.
“We give glory to God for putting smiles on our faces with this miracle,” he added.
