We need everybody’s talents – Bawumia after NPP’s regional elections

New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has urged the party’s newly elected Greater Accra Regional executives to unite and work together towards securing victory in the 2028 general elections.
D.r Bawumia made the call when the new executives paid a courtesy call on him following the NPP’s regional elections held on Saturday, August 15.
Addressing the executives, he urged the party to put the competition that characterised the regional elections behind it and harness the strengths and talents of all members ahead of the 2028 election.
“The election is over, you’ve had competitors, let us come together. The real election is 2028. Let’s put everybody’s talents to use. We must use everybody’s talents.”
Dr. Bawumia also assured members across the various factions of the party that he was willing to work with everyone, irrespective of the outcome of the regional elections.
“I’m open to work with everybody. Everybody.”
The NPP held its regional elections on Saturday, August 15, as part of its ongoing internal reorganisation ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The newly elected Greater Accra Regional executives are led by Chairman Dr Bernard Okoe Boye.
Other elected executives include Joana Adda Frances as First Vice Chairman, Prince Obeng as Organiser, Moses Abor as Youth Organiser, Grace Acheampong as Women’s Organiser and Jeff Kasim as Nasara Organiser.
The regional elections form part of the NPP’s efforts to reorganise its structures and strengthen its leadership ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Dr. Bawumia’s call for unity comes as the party seeks to bring together its various factions and mobilise its members around a common objective ahead of the next electoral contest.
