#BringBackGNBank: Nduom engages the world tomorrow over unjust revocation of license

As part of the ongoing #BringBackGNBank national tour, the chairman of Groupe Nduom, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom will tomorrow, Thursday, June 6, 2024 engage the world, particularly, Ghanaians live on Facebook to talk about the GN Bank story from its beginning till the time the Bank of Ghana (BoG) unjustly revoked its licence.
The Facebook interaction which will start at 5:00pm, will also be telecast live on Amansan Television (ATV) and Ocean 1 TV. It will also be broadcast live on Ahomka FM, Anigye FM and Eezy FM.
Dr. Nduom and former employees of GN Bank and some managers of Groupe Nduom on Sunday, May 27, 2024 embarked on national tour of all the 300 branches of GN Bank to ascertain the state of the bank’s properties since its licence was withdrawn.
Speaking to the media, the chairman of Groupe Nduom said, “the tour is to support indigenous banks and financial institutions in order to ensure Ghanaians have control over the economy”.
He added: “It is to demonstrate to the people that it is indigenous financial institutions, especially banks that had invested deep into the regions outside of regional capitals to bring safe and secure services”.
He said, the #BringBackGNBank is a national journey for local economic development.
