NSA releases PIN Codes for 2026/2027 National Service Applicants

The National Service Authority (NSA) has released PIN codes for qualified private candidates, defaulters, and foreign-trained graduates seeking enrolment for the 2026/2027 national service year.

The Authority announced that the PIN codes are available for eligible Ghanaians who previously defaulted on their mandatory national service obligations or were unable to undertake their service, as well as foreign-trained graduates and private candidates who have successfully gone through the required registration process.

According to the NSA, a total of 7,794 applications have been received following the registration exercise. Out of the figure, 3,072 applicants are yet to complete payment, while 4,722 have paid the required fees.

The Authority further disclosed that 1,558 applications are awaiting approval, while 3,129 have been approved. A total of 35 applications have been rejected after the verification and approval processes.

In a statement issued on September 28, 2026, the NSA encouraged applicants whose applications have been successfully approved to check their National Service PIN codes and proceed with the necessary steps to complete their enrolment within the timelines set by the Authority.

“Applicants whose applications have been successfully approved are encouraged to check their National Service PIN Codes and proceed with the necessary steps to complete their national service enrolment within the timelines communicated by the Authority,” the statement said.

The Authority also advised applicants to carefully verify all personal information associated with their PIN codes before proceeding with registration.

“Applicants are reminded to carefully verify the personal information associated with their PIN Codes and ensure that all details are accurate,” NSA stated.

The statement added that any applicant who encounters discrepancies or registration-related issues should contact the appropriate NSA office for assistance.

NSA reiterated that national service remains a statutory obligation for eligible Ghanaian graduates and urged all persons issued with PIN codes to comply fully with the requirements and timelines outlined by the Authority.

“National service remains an important statutory obligation. All persons issued PIN Codes are therefore urged to comply fully with the requirements and timelines communicated by the Authority to facilitate a smooth enrolment and deployment process,” the statement added.
