2025 BECE: Dr. Apaak motivates students with disability
On the last day of this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Apaak has visited some students with disability in Pong-Tamale.
His visit forms part of a two-day monitoring exercise in the Northern Region to familiarize himself with events during the BECE week.
At the Savelugu School of Deaf centre, he engaged several of the students, wishing them success as they prepare to complete basic school formally.

“I wish them well. I look forward to seeing them at the next level of education, whether secondary or TVET. The next time they see me, they should let me know that I came to visit them when they were writing their BECE.
“We have confidence that they will do well. I want them to know that the president will do his best to ensure that they are progressing and they get better conditions for their education. They should not let anyone tell them that they cannot do anything,” Dr. Apaak said through an interpreter.
Dr. Apaak, who is also a Member of Parliament for Builsa, visited exam centers in Tolon, Savelugu, and Pong-Tamale.
