New Patriotic Party (NPP) Director of Communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has expressed confidence that newly elected First Vice Chairman Kojo Bamba will play a key role in strengthening the party’s grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2028 general elections.
According to Miracles, Kojo Bamba brings a unique combination of influence, innovation and forward-thinking leadership that could enhance the NPP’s efforts to connect with its grassroots, particularly the youth.
Speaking on Eyewitness News on Monday, Miracles said Bamba’s election demonstrated the importance of having diverse strengths and constituencies represented within the party’s leadership.
“He is one of the people that we know would be able to provide a certain level of influence on the grassroots. That is Kojo Bamba for you, and that is the level of innovation that he brings to the table that people have not paid their mind to,” he said.
Miracles further expressed optimism that Bamba’s grassroots influence would translate into stronger mobilisation of party supporters and help the NPP safeguard its votes during the 2028 elections.
“I am excited about his election because I can tell you one thing for a fact. With Kojo Bamba, the votes of the NPP will be protected. The ballots of the NPP will be protected,” he stated.
He said the newly elected First Vice Chairman’s experience and appeal could complement the efforts of other members of the NPP leadership as the party prepares for the next general election.
