Kojo Bamba’s election will strengthen NPP’s grassroots mobilisation – Miracle Aboagye

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Director of Communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has expressed confidence that the party’s newly elected First Vice Chairman, Kojo Bamba, will strengthen grassroots mobilization and help protect the party’s votes in the 2028 general election.
Speaking on Eyewitness News on Monday 5th October, 2026, Aboagye described Kojo Bamba as an influential, innovative and forward-thinking politician whose appeal among the youth and grassroots could complement the strengths of the NPP’s leadership.
He said Mr Bamba’s election reflected the importance of diversity within the party’s leadership, noting that different executives brought different skills, experiences and constituencies to the NPP.
“He is one of the people that we know would be able to provide a certain level of influence on the grassroots. That is Kojo Bamba for you, and that is the level of innovation that he brings to the table that people have not paid their mind to,” he said.
Aboagye said he was particularly optimistic about Bamba’s ability to mobilise party supporters and contribute to efforts to protect the NPP’s ballots during the 2028 elections.
“I am excited about his election because I can tell you one thing for a fact. With Kojo Bamba, the votes of the NPP will be protected. The ballots of the NPP will be protected,” he stated.
