Mahama promises to set-up farmer services center in Builsa South

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has promised to set up farmers services center for farmers in Builsa South and it’s surrounding areas.

Addressing a rally at Fumbisi, the NDC’s flagbearer stated that he is aware of the food production in the area and that he will provide a ready market for the farmers.

“We know the potential of Builsa South when it comes to food production. So we are going to help the farmers by setting you a farmer’s service center, we are going to bring tractors, combine harvesters, planters, and fertilizer among others”, former President Mahama stated.
He said the next NDC government will continue with the things that the people of Builsa South need.

“I know the road from Fubisi to Kanjaga and other areas has to be done,” Mr. Mahama stated.
The NDC flagbearer also touched on the issue of tertiary education in the area.

“I know that you don’t have know tertiary educational facility here, because the whole of this area, there is no tertiary educational institution. I know you that,” the NDC flag bearer stated.
“We will do all that for you but in the next coming of NDC, our priority is jobs.
“What our young people want today is not phones and pay one cedi, our young people want jobs because if they get jobs they can buy their phones.”
