Mahama will hold a media encounter to wrap up Upper East campaign tour

The flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, will engage the media in Bolgatanga on Wednesday to wrap up his four-day campaign tour of the Upper East Region.
The media encounter, dubbed #MahamaConversations, will be broadcast live on radio and television networks across the region and the country.
According to Campaign Spokesperson Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the media encounter will be live on all Mahama social media pages from 8.00 am.
The engagement will afford journalists another opportunity to ask the NDC leader questions about his re-election bid, his transformative policy proposals, and matters related to the Upper East Region.
The four-day #Mahama4Change2024 campaign tour ended on Tuesday night. During the tour, Mr. Mahama held community engagements and meetings with traditional and religious leaders and women’s groups.
He was accompanied by Campaign Manager Professor Joshua Alabi, former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, and Regional and Constituency executives.
Mr. Mahama promised to fix the economy and explained to the people the opportunities that would come with his 24-hour economy policy, the Women’s Development Bank, the establishment of Farmer Service Centres to provide easy access to farming implements, equipment, seedlings, and other support services on credit, and agro-processing factories at strategic locations to boost food production and security.
The tour, which has taken him to all fifteen constituencies in the region, also allowed the NDC flag bearer to hear from opinion leaders about their expectations. He repeated his promise to complete abandoned projects.
