2024 Elections Defeat: Stephen Amoah threatens to expose NPP

The Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso in the Ashanti Region, Stephen Amoah, popularly known as Sticka, has demanded an apology and retraction of a report on the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) loss in the 2024 elections.
Sticka claims the report unfairly tarnishes his image and that of his constituency.
According to Sticka, the party’s executive caucus has made false accusations against him, including claims that he had an alternative campaign team, despite the one inaugurated by the party, and that he failed to put up posters and billboards.
Sticka vehemently denies these allegations.
Speaking in an interview on Hello FM on March 3, 2025, Sticka questioned the report’s credibility, asking, “Why didn’t they mention everyone involved in the election?” He believes the report is biased and unfair.
The NPP’s loss in the 2024 elections has been a subject of discussion among political analysts. While some attribute the loss to low voter turnout, others point to internal party conflicts and poor campaign strategies.
Sticka firmly warned the party, saying, “If they don’t come out and speak the truth and retract, I will also come out and tell the public about how we lost the election in the Ashanti region.”
