We don’t have any animosity toward the judiciary – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration has no animosity towards the judiciary.
Speaking during a meeting the Ghana Bar Association at the Presidency, President Mahama assures them of an opened door policy.
He emphasized that his administration will work the legal fraternity to strengthen Ghana’s governance system.
“Government is open to working with you, particularly on our side of the political divide. There’s this perception that we have a problem with the legal fraternity and things like that,” Mahama stated.
He pointed to the individuals in his administration, including Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong, as evidence of the government’s respect for the judiciary.
Mahama reiterated that his administration harbours no hostility toward the judiciary or the legal profession, adding, “We’re not people who have any such animosity towards the judiciary and the legal fraternity. So our doors are open.”
