All hidden corruption under Akufo-Addo will be exposed – NDC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to hold former government officials accountable for allegedly misusing state funds. Mustapha Gbande, Deputy Director of Operations at the Presidency, says the party will take legal action against those involved.
According to Mustapha Gbande, Deputy Director of Operations at the Presidency, the party is determined to take action.
“I know that President Mahama is committed, and the party is solidly behind him to do that which Ghanaians have brought us to do, including prosecuting those who have stolen from the nation,” he stated in an interview with Citi News.
Gbande warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that no individual would be exempted from accountability—not even former President Nana Akufo-Addo.
“I can say on authority that they have stolen from the nation. President Akufo-Addo has supervised his appointees to steal from the nation… Nana Akufo-Addo himself will not be spared,” he declared.
The NDC plans to work to expose and punish financial wrongdoings by the previous administration. Gbande revealed that in the coming days, ministries, departments, and agencies would uncover the “rots” and “crook deals” buried from the public and the media.
The NDC has confirmed to operate within the law in its efforts and also advised the NPP to accept the consequences of their actions.
