Change has come to Ghana: A new era unfolds – Dr. Apaak

Ghana has ushered in a new era, marked by a significant shift in the country’s political landscape.
According to Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, Member of Parliament for Builsa South Constituency, “the wind of CHANGE has blown with the fury of a typhoon”.
Dr. Apaak’s statement, posted on X, echoes the sentiments of many Ghanaians who have been eagerly awaiting the outcome of the elections. The MP’s assertion that “the level of damage and the number of casualties will be historic” suggests that the elections have brought about a seismic shift in the country’s politics.
Dr. Apaak also referenced a statement made by John Dramani Mahama (JDM), the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who said, “This election is [was] not between NDC and NPP, it is between Ghanaians and NPP.” This statement highlights the notion that the elections were not just a contest between two political parties, but a referendum on the performance of the incumbent government.
As the dust settles on the elections, Dr. Apaak’s congratulatory message to Ghanaians is a testament to the country’s democratic maturity. “Congratulations, Ghana has won!” he exclaimed.
