Dangote’s confidence in Mahama gives strong mileage to Accra Reset Agenda – Anatu Bogobiri Esq

Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri Esq., says Aliko Dangote’s endorsement of President John Dramani Mahama provides significant momentum for the President’s Accra Reset Agenda.
According to Madam Bogobiri, the recognition from one of Africa’s most prominent business leaders, delivered on a major international platform, carries important significance for Ghana’s economic reset and efforts to attract investment.
She made the observation following the Accra Reset: Full Circle convening in New York, held on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81).
The convening, themed “Resetting Global Development: One Year On,” brought together global leaders, business executives and development stakeholders to reflect on progress made since the launch of the Accra Reset initiative.
Aliko Dangote, who was among the distinguished speakers, commended President Mahama for what he described as a rapid turnaround of Ghana’s economy.
According to Madam Bogobiri, Dangote said President Mahama had “put the Ghanaian economy on concrete pillars by doing the right things within a short period.”
He also underscored the importance of confidence in economic management, stating: “money follows trust.”
Reacting to the remarks, Madam Bogobiri said the endorsement from a distinguished global investor of Dangote’s stature at a platform as significant as UNGA represents an important boost for Ghana.
She said it gives “strong mileage to President Mahama’s Reset Agenda” and provides additional visibility to the government’s efforts to reposition Ghana’s economy and strengthen investor confidence.
Madam Bogobiri further noted that the comments reinforce the importance of trust in attracting capital and building confidence in Ghana’s economic direction.
The Accra Reset was launched as a platform to advance discussions on Ghana’s development priorities and strengthen partnerships with international stakeholders.
