Dr. Apaak commends NDC Greater Accra Youth Wing for a robust determination

The Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak has commended the Greater Accra Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their strong determination.
According to him, the youth wing deserves commendation for holding the clean-up exercise at former President Mahama’s Office.
This comes on the back of National Security stopping the members of “Fixing the Country Movement” from staging a demonstration at the office of the Former President, John Dramani Mahama, on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023.
The Greater Accra Youth Wing, despite Fixing the Country Movement calling off their demonstration still went ahead to carry out their planned clean up exercise.
The move has been lauded by the Office of the Former President.
Commenting on the development, the Builsa South lawmaker stated that the only language bullies understand is to stand-up to them.
“Indeed the Greater Accra Youth Wing of the NDC must be highly commended for calling the bluff of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia NPP government sponsored thugs.
“The only reason why they called off their nonsensical attempt was because of the robust determination of the Greater Accra Youth Wing to meet them boot4boot. The only language bullies understand is to stand-up to them. This is the posture we need going into the 2024 elections,” Dr. Apaak stated.
In a related development in the political front, The Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak has stated that Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s response to former President John Mahama’s proposed 24-hour economy has exposed him as petty.
According to him, he cannot fathom how the Vice President could see Mr. Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy as bad.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia recently asserted that President John Mahama, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), lacks a comprehensive understanding of the 24-hour economy policy he advocates.
Dr. Bawumia also highlighted that the 24-hour economy policy is already in practice in various sectors in Ghana, including hospitals and fuel companies.
Commenting on the Vice President’s assertion, the Builsa South lawmaker stated that the Vice President has worked and seen how the 24-hour economy has helped countries to develop hence he must be honest.
“JM’s 24-Hour Economy Promise. How can Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who undertook his entire university education [1st, 2nd, 3rd degrees], lived and worked, in countries with 24-Hour Economies before returning to Ghana say a proposal to make Ghana a 24-hour economy is bad?
“Bad idea? How can a proposal he knows has obvious transformational effects be bad for a nation like ours struggling to deal with unemployment,” Dr. Apaak stated.
He continued: “The overwhelming endorsement of JM’s 24-Hour Economy proposal and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s dishonest reaction has exposed him as petty.”
