Dr. George Akuffo Dampare commends Police officers for AU summit security

The Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has expressed his gratitude to personnel of the Police Service who worked to ensure the protection of all persons and property during the 45th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 6th meeting of the 2024 Africa Union Commission (AUC) which was held from 17th July to 21st July 2024 in Accra.
In a statement Monday 22nd July 2024, the IGP said “We are grateful to you for your professionalism and patriotic commitment to duty”.
The statement also expressed appreciation to the general public for the cooperation during the period.
“We also wish to thank all motorists, the commuting public and all other road users for your patience and cooperation during the period”.
