Kanjarga Community Day SHS thanks Dr. Apaak for funding WASSCE materials

Management of the Kanjarga Community Day Senior High School has expressed appreciation to the Member of Parliament for Builsa South Constituency, Dr. Clement Apaak for providing funds for materials final year students needed for the West African Senior Secondary Examination (WASSCE) this year.
In a letter to the MP on August 19th, 2024, the headmaster of the school appealed for financial assistance to purchase examination materials as a result of the school’s depleted coffers. An excess of GHC10,000 was requested to procure items for WASSCE subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Following the appeal, Dr, Apaak authorized the release of funds needed from his share of the District Assembly’s Common Fund to purchase the needed items.
The school noted that it was thankful for the Member of Parliament’s intervention.
“As the saying goes ‘a friend in need is a friend indeed’. Words cannot express our joy for heeding to our cry. We are grateful for the release of your share of the common fund to cater for the WASSCE practical examination of the School.
“May the almighty God bless you abundantly so that you would continue to be a blessing to others,” the school told to the Member of Parliament.
