Presidency to establish prophecy hotline

The Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations has directed religious leaders across Ghana to submit any prophecy or spiritual revelation of national significance to the office for urgent review.

The directive, issued on Sunday, August 10, 2025, is aimed at promoting responsibility, discernment, and proper stewardship over the country’s destiny in the current climate of uncertainty.

It specifically applies to prophecies concerning high-profile political leaders, governance, national security, and matters relating to public stability. The office noted that such spiritual insights should be approached with care to ensure they provide prudent and thoughtful guidance for the nation.

The Presidential Envoy appealed for intensified prayers for the President, the government, state institutions, bereaved families, and the nation as a whole. The call comes in the wake of the recent tragic accident involving government officials, members of the military, and executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to the envoy, the accident has placed the nation in a period of reflection, underscoring the importance of spiritual support in times of crisis. The office emphasised that faith leaders have a vital role in strengthening national unity and stability, especially during moments of grief and uncertainty.

The directive further reaffirmed the government’s commitment to partnering with religious leaders to create an atmosphere of peace and stability, which it described as essential for national progress. By submitting prophecies and revelations for review, faith leaders can help ensure that their messages contribute to unity, national cohesion, and the well-being of all citizens.
