Public funds paid to contractors with no work done, reject Bawumia, NPP – Dr. Apaak to Voters
The Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak has called on Ghanaians to reject the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the abuse of public funds.
This follows the TV3 report that captured a number of projects this administration has paid contractors for with no work done.
The report mentioned the Pwalugu irrigation dam, and motorway expansion project among others.
Commenting on the development, the Builsa South lawmaker stated that Ghanaians must vote out this government so the new National Democratic Congress (NDC) government can hold them accountable.
“The Government paid Chinese contractor MS PowerChina $11.9 million for no work done on the Pwalugu irrigation dam. The government further paid Morta Engils $2.57 million dollars for no work down on the motorway expansion currently being done by MS Maripoma.
“Reject Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (DMB) [NADAA], Reject NPP. Let’s vote them out so that we can hold them accountable. Vote JM, Vote NDC!” he wrote on his Twitter handle.
