Shatta Fest beats Bhim Festival to top Today.com.gh entertainment poll

Shatta Fest has emerged as the biggest entertainment show of 2025, beating Bhim Festival in a Today.com.gh poll conducted on its WhatsApp Channel this week.

According to the poll results, Shatta Fest secured 51.35% of the votes, placing it comfortably ahead of all other events listed. Bhim Festival followed with 35.14%, marking a strong showing but falling short of the top position. Legacy Rise Sport’s The Showdown in Accra placed third with 8.11%, while Rapperholic Concert – Homecoming and Zaama Disco Concert each recorded 2.70%. Tidal Rave Festival, AfroFuture Ghana 2025 and GT Bank’s GTCO Concert all finished with 0%.

The results reflect a clear preference among readers for Shatta Wale’s annual birthday concert, which has grown into one of the most dominant live entertainment brands in the country. Shatta Fest 2025, staged at Independence Square in Accra, was widely described as a city-stopping event, with massive crowds, an all-white theme and visible backing from fans of the Shatta Movement.

The scale of attendance and the cultural symbolism of the event appear to have resonated strongly with voters.

Bhim Festival’s 35.14% share highlights the continued popularity of Stonebwoy’s flagship show, which celebrated a decade of his musical career.

The festival, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, drew thousands of fans dressed in BHIM Nation colours and featured a blend of high-energy performances from local and international acts, reinforcing Stonebwoy’s standing as one of Ghana’s most influential live performers.

Legacy Rise Sport’s The Showdown in Accra, with 8.11%, stood out as the only non-music event to attract notable support. The international boxing spectacle combined elite-level sport with live entertainment and global broadcast exposure, setting it apart within the entertainment calendar.

Rapperholic Concert – Homecoming’s 2.70% reflected interest in Sarkodie’s decision to stage the event outside Accra, while Zaama Disco Concert matched the same percentage.

The remaining events failed to attract any votes, underlining how sharply attention was concentrated at the top.
