The woman who overcame all criticism: Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang – Lawrence Lamptey writes

Skeptics within the NDC were shocked to see the renewed strength, energy, vigor and determination of Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang as she toured every corner of this country with the NDC message of change. She indeed won the hearts of many which translated into a massive victory for the party.
Many of us who expressed doubt about her competence to prosecute such a hectic and demanding campaign were totally proven wrong. Our criticism energized her to do far better than the previous elections, and this can be scored as a mark of a proactive and listening leader. Her acceptance of all criticisms without directly resorting to anger has proven beyond reasonable doubt that she is highly tolerant. This cannot be said about others.
The several others who questioned her base and strength in her home region, the Central Region, and her Constituency – Komenda, has also been proven wrong. The series of criticism energized her to put up a spirited campaign to win both her Constituency and her region, securing more seats for the Parliamentary and huge margins for the Presidential.
Critics also touched on her ability to appeal to all sections of the Ghanaian public.
Yes indeed! She appealed to Chiefs, Queen mothers, market women, business persons, students in both basic and tertiary, teachers, nurses and several other middle-class professionals. She appealed to artisans, health workers, person’s living with disability and farmers in general.
This uncommon appeal made a significant touch in the victory numbers of the Great NDC.
Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has a positive posture of decency, maturity and leadership. She is well cultured and respects the rules of the land. She speaks temperately with loads of wisdom. She is much committed to the Better Ghana project and an ardent Apostle of the Building the Ghana we Want Programme.
Congratulations Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, Vice President – Elect of Ghana. You really deserve that office. You are going to be a good pair and a solid backing for H.E. John Dramani Mahama’s vision for the highest office of the land. We see in both of you a History making pair prepared to leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
We wish you the best in your endeavour to help RESET Ghana to the admiration of all.
