Trump reveals Chief of Staff has breast cancer

President Donald Trump has revealed that his Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer but will continue working during treatment.

Trump disclosed the diagnosis in a public message praising Wiles’ determination and dedication to her role in the administration.

According to the president, Wiles chose to begin treatment immediately after receiving the diagnosis rather than delay medical care.

He indicated that her doctors remain optimistic about her recovery.

“Susie Wiles is an incredible Chief of Staff, a great person, and one of the strongest people I know,” Trump said, describing her as one of his closest and most trusted advisers.

He added that Wiles has assembled a strong medical team to guide her through treatment and that her prognosis is “excellent,” a development he said has reassured him and members of the administration.

Trump also noted that despite the diagnosis, Wiles intends to remain actively involved in her duties at the White House throughout the treatment period.

“During the treatment period, she will be spending virtually full time at the White House, which makes me, as President, very happy,” he stated.

The president praised what he described as her resilience and devotion to public service, saying her decision to continue working reflects her strong commitment to the American people.

“Her strength and her commitment to continue doing the job she loves, and does so well, while undergoing treatment, tells you everything you need to know about her,” Trump said.

He further described Wiles as “tough and deeply committed to serving the American people,” highlighting her role as a key figure in the administration’s policy and political operations.

Trump added that he and First Lady Melania Trump are standing by Wiles as she undergoes treatment.

“Melania and I are with her in every way, and we look forward to working with Susie on the many big and wonderful things that are happening for the benefit of our country,” the president stated.

Wiles is regarded as one of Trump’s most influential advisers and has played a central role in shaping the administration’s strategy and operations at the White House.
