You dare not attack Mahama, after destroying buffers, misused $6b COVID cash – Terkper to Anim Adam

Former Minister for Finance, Seth Terkpe has warned the current Minister for Finance, Anim Adam over his comments against the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama over the economy.
Finance Minister Dr. Amin Adam over the weekend, took aim at former President John Dramani Mahama, claiming his lack of crisis management experience would plunge Ghana into deeper economic turmoil if elected as President in the December 7th polls.
Addressing NPP party supporters at Bantama in the Ashanti region, Dr. Amin Adam predicted improved living conditions for Ghanaians under a Bawumia presidency. “When Dr. Mahmood Bawumia becomes president, all the people of Ghana will feel improved living conditions,” he said. “You will feel it in your lives, you will feel it in your pockets, and you will feel it in your homes.”
Responding to him in a tweet, Mr. Terkper disclosed that the current NPP government is most endowed under the 4th Republic but has failed to improve the living conditions of Ghanaians
“You erase all it took to prepare for CRISIS by destroying [a] buffers [ie, stabex fund after using $250m for COVID]; and [b] debt mgt schemes [ie, ESLA & Sinking Fund], without realizing it caused your debt default]. Then you dare attack JM, the initiator w/ 1 v 3 oil fields.
“Even during COVID, we got $6b plus in fees, grants & loans but failed to manage our way out of a catastrophe that even exported our “haircut”. Need I justify why it must be JM? @ghonetv @Joy997FM @3news_com @metrotvgh @starr1035fm @Citi973 @radiogold905fm @ndccommbureau”, Mr. Terkper stated.
He continued: “This is most-endowed 4th Republic Govt: post-colonial? Besides the COVID inflow, more than HIPC, it inherited 2+1 oilfields & peak cocoa/gold output/price. Even flows from IMF ECF 2015 Program & highest loans. The legacy is a crash that lingers, not any efficient crisis mgt.”
