Ken Thompson
The Chief Executive of Dalex Finance a non-bank financial institution, Ken Thompson says Ghana is completely broke under the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
This follows the prevailing economic challenges that have bedeviled the nation.
The Ghanaian cedi fast depreciating against major currencies around the world.
Economic experts predict that the Ghanaian cedi may depreciate to between 16 to 18 Ghana cedi to a dollar.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Thompson stated that the government has over-borrowed coupled with huge taxes on the Ghanaian people and their businesses.
“Taxing a nation to prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and lifting themselves by the handle. The reality is that we’re broke and over-borrowed. Ghana is completely broke”, Mr. Thompson stated on Woezor TV recently.
