Dangote’s endorsement of Mahama a major boost for Ghana’s investment outlook – Anatu Bogobiri Esq

Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri Esq., has described Aliko Dangote’s endorsement of President John Dramani Mahama’s economic management as a major boost for Ghana’s investment climate.
In a statement following the Accra Reset: Full Circle convening in New York, held on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81), Madam Bogobiri highlighted the significance of the endorsement from the African business magnate.
The event, themed “Resetting Global Development: One Year On,” brought together global leaders, business figures, and development stakeholders to reflect on progress made under the Accra Reset initiative.
Aliko Dangote, who was among the distinguished speakers at the high-level gathering, commended President Mahama for what he described as a rapid turnaround of the Ghanaian economy.
According to Madam Bogobiri, the businessman said President Mahama had “put the Ghanaian economy on concrete pillars by doing the right things within a short period.”
He also emphasised the importance of confidence in economic management, stating: “money follows trust.”
Madam Bogobiri said the remarks were particularly significant because they came from a globally recognised investor and businessman with extensive interests across Africa and beyond.
She described the endorsement as “a major boost for Ghana’s investment climate” and said it gives “strong mileage to President Mahama’s Reset Agenda.”
The NHIA DCEO’s reaction comes amid ongoing efforts by the government to rebuild confidence in Ghana’s economy and attract investment following the country’s recent economic challenges.
She said the recognition from a prominent African investor at a major international platform such as UNGA81 underscores the importance of trust and confidence in Ghana’s economic transformation agenda.
The Accra Reset initiative has provided a platform for Ghana to engage international stakeholders on development, investment, and broader economic cooperation.
