VIDEO-Breaking News: Cynthia Morrison escapes assassination attempt

In a shocking incident, former Ghanaian Gender Minister Cynthia Morrison narrowly escaped an assassination attempt in Agona Nyakrom, Central Region, around 7:40 pm. An unidentified gunman allegedly targeted Morrison but fortunately missed, striking another individual instead.
The attack occurred during a power outage (dumsor) in the area, adding to the chaos. Morrison and her team swiftly sought refuge at the nearby police station to report the incident.
According to eyewitnesses, the assailant’s motive remains unclear. Authorities have commenced investigations into the attempted assassination.
Morrison, a prominent figure in Ghanaian politics, served as the Member of Parliament for Agona West and Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection under President Akufo-Addo’s administration.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting calls for increased security measures and swift justice.
