Aburi Girls’ headmistress dies in Rome

The Aburi Girls Senior High School community is grieving the unexpected death of its Headmistress, Mrs. Cynthia Anim, who passed away while participating in an Educational workshop in Rome.
According to the school’s Board Chair, Rev. E.A. Asiedu, Mrs. Anim had traveled to Italy with the Deputy Minister of Education, other senior high school heads, and selected students when the sad event occurred.
“The sad event occurred in Rome where she in the company of the Deputy Minister of Education and other Heads of SHS are attending a workshop with some selected students.”
He conveyed his sadness, stating, “I wish to formally inform honorable members with the sure hope of the Resurrection that our Headmistress Mrs. Cynthia Anim has passed on to Eternity.”
He also informed that an emergency Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 30, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the school’s boardroom to discuss the matter.
“In connection with this you are kindly invited to an Emergency Board meeting on Monday 30th September at 10a.m. at the Board room of the school.”
