‎Asiedu Nketiah leaves Ghana for South Korea political parties dialogue

‎National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah, has left Ghana for Seoul, South Korea, to participate in an international political parties conference.
‎
‎According to a statement issued by the NDC National Secretariat and signed by its Director of Communications, Kakra Essamuah, on Sunday September 6, 2026, Asiedu-Nketiah undertook the trip at the invitation of the ICAPP.
‎
‎Asiedu-Nketiah departed Accra on Sunday, September 6, 2026, following an invitation from the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
‎
‎He is expected to attend the inaugural meeting of the Intercontinental Dialogue Among Political Parties, scheduled for September 7 to 9, 2026, in Seoul.
‎
‎The meeting is expected to bring together political parties and leaders from different parts of the world to engage on issues relating to political cooperation and dialogue.
‎
‎The statement said, “The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Hon. Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah has left Accra today 6th September, 2026, for a visit to Seoul, South Korea, at the invitation of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties to attend the inaugural meeting of the Intercontinental Dialogue Among Political Parties.”

‎During his absence, the NDC National Vice Chairman, Chief Awudu Sofo Azorka, will act as the National Chairman of the party.
‎
‎The NDC said the arrangement would ensure continuity in the administration of the party while its National Chairman is away.
