Bagbin honored with the title of Dakagili Naa by Wa Traditional Council

Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has been honored with the title of “Dakagili Naa” by Nba Wa Naa, His Royal Majesty Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV, and the people of Wa. The prestigious title, which signifies dependability, reliability, and wisdom, was conferred during a grand durbar held in Wa.
Expressing his gratitude, Speaker Bagbin thanked Wa Naa, the chiefs, and the people of Wa for this esteemed recognition. He also extended his appreciation to the Members and staff of the Parliament of Ghana, the media, students, and all well-wishers who attended the ceremony.
In his acceptance speech, Speaker Bagbin reaffirmed his dedication to serving the people of Ghana with integrity and commitment. “I shall continue to work tirelessly to improve the lives of our citizens and uphold the values of our nation,” he stated.
The event was attended by distinguished chiefs from various paramountcies, dignitaries, and community members, highlighting the deep respect and admiration for Speaker Bagbin’s leadership and service to the nation.
