Bill Gates’ $20bn investments in Ghana is a tribute to Mahama’s leadership of integrity – Spio-Garbrah

Bill Gates’ $20bn investments in Ghana have been described by Dr Spio-Garbrah, a former ambassador to the USA, as a testament to President John Mahama’s leadership integrity.
This significant contribution, which would account for about 10% of Bill Gates’ $200 billion personal wealth pledged to worthy causes over the next 20 years, highlights Ghana’s growing economic resurgence.
The Gates Foundation has a history of supporting global health initiatives, disease eradication efforts and educational development. In 2018, Bill and Melinda Gates gave away $138 million to their charitable foundation. Bill Gates’ philanthropy has been extensive, with donations helping to improve many lives around the globe.
According to Dr. Spio-Garbrah, Ghana is benefiting from an “Integrity Dividend” due to the global appreciation of the changes achieved under President Mahama’s leadership in just six months. He noted that what used to be a mere “Democracy Dividend” ascribed to Ghana for its successful power transfers has now been elevated to recognition of President Mahama’s government integrity.
The Bill Gates’ $20bn investments in Ghana for the next 20 years will go a long way to help the government of Ghana achieve the much-needed economic and financial recovery
Dr. Spio-Garbrah emphasized the successes of President Mahama’s RESET Agenda, focusing on economic and financial recovery, including the establishment of a Ghana Gold Board, which he believes presages a “New Golden Age for Ghana.” This development comes on the heels of Hon. Sam George mobilizing $1 billion from Middle Eastern investors, further signaling growing acknowledgment of Ghana’s economic resurgence.
