Ignore NPP-Bawumia fake polls: All credible polls, NIB, Blue Gate all put Mahama-NDC ahead – Dr. Apaak

The Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak has called on Ghanaians to ignore fake polls being churned out to deceive the public.
According to him, all credible polls conducted so far have placed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
This comes on the back of Mr. John Mahama accusing the NPP government of fabricating fake opinion polls.
“All the credible opinion polls have predicted that NDC is going to win. Because of that the NPP and the government have started publishing fake opinion polls. Opinion polls that have no methodology. Opinion polls that where you cannot find the people who did the research.
“So ignore all those fake opinion polls. Everything indicated and every credible institution, Economic Intelligence Unit, Fitch Solutions, Global InfoAnalytics every proper opinion polls show that NDC is going to win the elections.
“But we must not be complacent. We must protect every single person’s votes. That is why I say this election all of us are going to be polling agents”, Mr. Mahama stated.
Few days ago, a poll by Global InfoAnalytics projected that Mr Mahama is maintaining a considerable lead over NPP’s Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The poll showed Mahama capturing 51.1% of committed voters, while Bawumia trails with 37.3%.
Commenting on the development, the lawmaker stated that NPP and Bawumia must be called for trying to deceive Ghanaians with their fake polls.
“An earlier cooked-up poll purportedly conducted by a Director of Research at the Presidency fictitiously predicted a run-off. The fake poll, said to be contained in a deliberately leaked report attributed to the said Director of Research, was given wide publicity by pro-NPP media outlets.
“However, the truth, as confirmed by insider sources, is that internal polls conducted by the DMB/NPP camp, polls by NIB, and Blue Gate all put JDM/NDC ahead of DMB/NPP. The reason why all credible and legitimate polls, favour JDM/NDC, are self-evident. The abysmal and atrocious record of the current NPP government, from which DMB cannot extricate himself, will not and cannot be forgotten nor forgiven by Ghanaians”, Dr. Apaak stated in a tweet on X.

JDM is right in calling out the NPP for sponsoring and paying for the publicity of fake opinion polls. All credible polls have predicted an NDC victory.
While we are not and won’t be complacent in light of the posture, deed, and conduct of the Jean Mensah EC, we must join in calling out the NPP/DMB camp for trying to deceive Ghanaians with concocted and fake polls.
A few days before InfoAnalytics and Fitch Solutions published and spoke to their recent polls, the DMB/NPP camp knowing that the poll numbers won’t favour them, preemptively paid 9 newspapers to publish the outcome of a cooked poll to hoodwink unsuspecting Ghanaians into believing that DMB was ahead of JDM.

Certainly, the majority of Ghanaians, the true owners of this Republic, will not give NADAA/NPP a third term by voting for DMB/NPP to continue the current socio-economic and political ills they have inflicted on them: corruption, state capture, economic mismanagement, reckless borrowing, galamsey, high cost of living, high cedi to dollar ratio, high cost of fuel, high cost of utilities, killer taxes, amongst others.
