Flag Staff House Akufo-Addo’s office is headquarters of misinformation – Mahama

John Dramani Mahama
The flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama says Ghana’s seat of Government is the headquarters of misinformation.
He said President Akufo-Addo should have cleaned his house first before talking at the Ghana Report Summit.
According to him, his message at Bawku Naaba’s Palace on creating a new region to hold six constituencies was completely misrepresented by the President’s Office, Flag Staff House.
The former President narrated that he only spoke about the economic gains and processes to get the region created but his message was twisted by the President’s office.
“In the evening I saw a fake news story misrepresenting completely what I said and trying to put me against the Manprugu State. I never mentioned Manprugu State at all, I compared the land size and region, economic viability, and all that.
“The President condemns misinformation and he used the ‘Agyapadie’ document as an example of misinformation. But probably what the President doesn’t know is that his office the Flag Staff House is the headquarters of misinformation.
“That is where they fake stories, misrepresent what people have said, and feed it into the social media. His own office is where they do that. So he should clear his house first before he talks about misinformation in other places.”
