Goldbod: We’re setting national sovereignty over our mineral wealth – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has said that through the Ghana Gold Board (Goldbod), the country is resetting national sovereignty over its mineral wealth.
This statement by the President highlights the government’s commitment to ensuring that Ghana’s natural resources are managed and utilized for the benefit of its citizens.
The Ghana Gold Board was established to oversee the gold sector and enforce regulations. According to President Mahama, the Board plays a crucial role in protecting Ghana’s mineral wealth and ensuring fair pricing and accountability in the sector. “The Goldbod is a critical institution in our efforts to formalize the gold trade and improve accountability in the sector,” he added.
