Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has pledged to work closely with the party’s newly elected regional executives to strengthen unity and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2028 national executive elections.
In a congratulatory message dated August 15, 2026, Mr Boadu congratulated all newly elected Regional Chairmen, executive members and external branches following the successful completion of the party’s regional executive elections.
He said their election reflected the confidence reposed in them by constituency executives and urged them to justify that confidence through hard work, unity and dedication.
“Your election reflects the confidence Constituency Executives have reposed in you, and I trust you will justify it through hard work, unity and dedication,” he stated.
Mr Boadu, who has participated in the party’s electoral process from the polling station through the electoral area, constituency and regional levels, said he looked forward to the national executive elections scheduled for October 3.
He expressed confidence that the upcoming national elections would bring the party’s internal democratic process to a successful conclusion.
According to him, the next phase should focus on strengthening cooperation among the party’s structures and preparing the NPP for the 2028 elections.
“I am ready to work with you to build a united, formidable and grassroots-driven NPP, as together we mobilise and organise for victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP in 2028,” Mr Boadu said.
He stressed the need for unity and collective effort, particularly as the party seeks to reorganise its grassroots structures and position itself for the next general elections.
Mr Boadu concluded his message by assuring the newly elected executives of his commitment to working with them, saying, “The task ahead is clear, and together, we will get it done.”
He further encouraged the party faithful with the slogan: “We have done it before. We will do it again. Let’s win together.”
