Mahama to implement youth agric-estate programme

An agric-estate programme is a government initiative aimed at providing young people with access to land, resources, training, and support to engage in agricultural activities. This programme is designed to attract young people to the agricultural sector, promote modern and sustainable agricultural practices, increase productivity, and improve the livelihoods of young farmers.
Agric-estates serve as platforms for young farmers to cultivate crops, raise livestock, and engage in other agricultural activities with the goal of contributing to rural development, poverty reduction, and economic growth. By integrating technology, innovation, and best practices, agric-estate programme will empower young people in agriculture and drive agricultural transformation in the country.
H.E. John Mahama’s idea of implementing a youth agric-estate programme, if voted for in the upcoming presidential election can be a beneficial initiative for promoting agriculture among young people and addressing issues such as youth unemployment and food security.
As already stated, by establishing agric-estates, young people can be provided with access to land, resources, training, and support to engage in agricultural activities. This can help attract young people to the agricultural sector, which is essential for ensuring the sustainability and growth of the agricultural industry.
Re-iterating an earlier point, agric-estates can serve as platforms for promoting modern and sustainable agricultural practices, increasing productivity, and improving the livelihoods of young farmers. By integrating technology, innovation, and best practices, these estates can help young farmers maximize their potential and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.
Furthermore, such programmes can also contribute to rural development, poverty reduction, and economic growth by creating employment opportunities, increasing agricultural production, and enhancing food security.
Overall, implementing a youth agric-estate programme by Mahama can be a strategic and impactful initiative for empowering young people in agriculture and driving agricultural transformation in the country.
