Mawutor Foundation, associates donate to Chosen Home Children

The Mawutor Foundation, together with family and associates, has donated assorted relief items to the Chosen Children Orphanage to support the home’s daily care needs.
The donation exercise, led by founder David E. Agboado, included books, clothing, shoes, food items, toiletries, drinking water, and other essential supplies aimed at improving the welfare of children at the orphanage.
The gesture forms part of the foundation’s expanding humanitarian outreach to vulnerable groups.
Mr. Agboado, who is widely recognised for supporting widows and persons with visual impairment, established the Mawutor Foundation in honour of his mother, Mawutor Srodah.
She raised him and his sister single-handedly after being widowed shortly after his birth, instilling strong moral and faith-based values despite difficult circumstances.

Since its establishment, the foundation has consistently focused on assisting widows and the blind, providing material support and relief to ease daily hardships.
In recent years, its scope has broadened to include orphans and people living with various forms of disability, reflecting a growing commitment to underserved communities.
Through regular outreach activities, the foundation seeks to share the burdens of individuals and families who often receive limited institutional or social support.
These interventions are designed not only to provide immediate relief but also to restore dignity and hope to beneficiaries.
Beyond philanthropy, Mr. Agboado is also active in workforce recruitment, linking employers with dependable workers.
He considers employment a critical pathway to stability and long-term self-reliance, particularly for individuals emerging from vulnerable backgrounds.
His recruitment work complements the foundation’s charitable efforts by addressing economic challenges alongside social needs.
The Mawutor Foundation’s activities are supported by a network of individuals and organisations who contribute resources and services throughout the year.
Notable contributors to the Chosen Children Orphanage donation included Ephraim Vordoyu of Vordoyu Chambers and Madame Jolie, who provided tangible support for the children.
Additional supporters named by the foundation include Dr. Ramatu Peregrino-Brimah, Attorney Jennifer Doe, Dr. Derrick Antedy of RKP Medicals, Nana Ofori Bekoe, estate developer Gideon Kofi Kamari, Blessdem Exfaa Ltd., and Isaac Yaw Sarpong of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority.
The foundation has encouraged individuals and businesses interested in employment opportunities, workforce recruitment, or charitable giving to engage with its ongoing programmes as it continues to expand its social impact.
