NDC Election: Let unity lead during and after the elections – Annatu Bogobiri Esq to aspirants 

National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri Esq. has called on members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to prioritise party unity during and after the upcoming Constituency and Regional Executive Elections.

Madam Bogobiri said aspirants should remember that the internal contest was temporary and that the party would need to come together afterwards to prepare for the 2028 general elections.

“And most importantly, let unity lead, during and AFTER the elections. Whether you win or lose, we remain one NDC,” she said.

She urged candidates and their supporters to quickly put aside divisions created by the internal contest once the elections are over.

“After this internal contest, we must quickly unite at every constituency and region into a formidable, united force ready to secure victory in the 2028 general elections,” she stated.

Madam Bogobiri said the decision by members to contest for party positions demonstrated their commitment to the growth and development of the NDC.

“Your decision to offer yourselves for service demonstrates your commitment to the growth, unity, and development of our great party,” she said.

She further encouraged all aspirants to maintain decorum and respect throughout the electoral process, stressing the need to keep the party’s larger political objective in focus.

“Let us contest with decorum, respect, and focus on the bigger picture which is 2028 general elections,” she added.

The NDC’s Constituency and Regional Executive Elections are part of the party’s internal organisational process. With the 2028 general elections ahead, the party is expected to rely on its constituency and regional structures for mobilisation, organisation and grassroots engagement.
