Over 8,000 Ghanaians have received new chip-embedded passports
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has disclosed that 8,463 Ghanaians have conveniently received their new chip-embedded passports across the country.
“An impressive 8,463 Ghanaians have conveniently received their new chip-embedded passports across the country via courier without paying extra charges since our April 28, 2025, Reset Passport Reforms”, the sector minister disclosed in a tweet.
Mr. Ablakwa also indicated that the figure is based on official data from the Passport Head Office.
“Mahama’s government is here to serve you diligently and to keep our pledges to you”, the sector minister added.
