Teachers make all great minds in every profession – Dr. Apaak

The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, has stated that teachers make all the great minds in every profession.
Dr. Apaak disclosed this when he made a special visit to the Ashaiman Cluster of Schools to commemorate activities for Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
During his engagement with the teachers, Dr. Apaak emphasized their critical role in shaping the future. He reminded them of their immense value in society, stating, “Your reward is not in heaven.” This statement urged teachers to recognize their importance and impact on the world.
Dr. Apaak also acknowledged the challenges teachers face, particularly concerning their working conditions. He stressed the government’s commitment to improving the environment in which teachers work, allowing them to thrive. “Right conditions of service will impact your mental health,” he said, highlighting the need for better working conditions.
Furthermore, Dr. Apaak reinforced the idea that teachers are the backbone of every profession. “Teachers make all the great minds in every profession,” he remarked, reminding the teachers of their vital contribution to the growth of every sector in society.
The Deputy Minister’s visit demonstrated the government’s ongoing efforts to support and uplift teachers, ensuring they receive the recognition and respect they deserve.
