Truly packed!: Kwakye Ofosu reveals Mahama’s hectic schedule in coming days

Minister for Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu says President John Mahama faces a demanding series of engagements in the coming days.
Kwakye Ofosu disclosed in a post on X on Tuesday that the President’s schedule for the week is tightly packed with meetings, national engagements and development activities across the country.
According to him, President Mahama will begin the engagements with a dialogue with Organised Labour on Tuesday evening.
The meeting comes after the President previously held discussions with members of the business community last month.
The minister indicated that the engagement forms part of the government’s broader consultations with key stakeholders in the country.
He added that the President will also meet Civil Society Organisations at a later date as part of the ongoing dialogue process.
“It’s been a busy week for President Mahama and it will get busier,” Kwakye Ofosu wrote in the social media update.
He further explained that the President will start the “Resetting Ghana Tour” on Wednesday, an initiative aimed at interacting with citizens and reviewing development projects.
Through the tour, President Mahama is expected to travel across parts of the country to engage directly with Ghanaians, inspect the progress of government projects and also interact with the media.
Kwakye Ofosu said the tour is intended to provide the President an opportunity to personally assess ongoing initiatives and gather feedback from communities.
The minister also revealed that the President will travel to the Afram Plains on Saturday to launch a key agricultural initiative.
During the visit, President Mahama will cut sod for the first Farmer Services Centre, one of 70 such centres expected to be constructed this year.
The centres are expected to support farmers with services and resources aimed at improving agricultural productivity.
Kwakye Ofosu summed up the schedule by describing the President’s upcoming engagements as “a truly packed week.”
