Upper East Region deserves it’s fair share of development – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama says the Upper East region deserves its fair share of development just like any other region.
He further stated that his government is committed to ensuring that no Ghanaians is left behind
President Mahama disclosed this while addressing the Chiefs, Members of Parliament (MPs) and the people of the region during his ‘Thank You’ tour in Bolgatanga on Thursday.
Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak and other key MPs were in the region to support the President in thanking the Chief and people of the Upper East for voting massively for the National Democratic Congress NDC during the 2024 election.
President Mahama assured residents that investments in infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, and education would continue as part of efforts to uplift the region.
“The Upper East Region, like every other part of Ghana, deserves its fair share of development not as a favor, but as a testament to my government’s commitment to ensuring that no Ghanaian is left behind,” he stated.
