Your manifesto on education hollow – Dr. Apaak to NPP, Bawumia

Dr. Clement Apaak
The deputy ranking member for the Education Committee in Parliament, Dr. Clement Apaak has stated that the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and their flag bearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia have no solution for Ghana’s education sector.
In a tweet on X, the Builsa South lawmaker stated that he was shocked with out was outlined by the NPP in their manifesto under education.
According to him, the party neglected Ghana’s Basic Education in their manifesto.
Dr. Apaak also touched on the fact that the NPP and their flag bearer were on a copying spree.
“As expected, I was eagerly awaiting to hear what DMB had to propose in the education sector. Boy, oh boy, and to my disappointment, nothing significant. Besides the proposal to fund the tertiary education of Persons with Disabilities, which DMB plagiarized from us; captured in our 2024 youth manifesto [certainly in our main manifesto] and a carryover from our 2020 Manifesto, DMB, and his NPP have proposed nothing to deal with the mosaic of challenges affecting the education sector.
“In fact, absolutely nothing on BASIC EDUCATION. Our side will issue a formal statement on this matter. The education sector is troubled, and it’s clear that DMB and NPP have no solutions to the challenges”, Dr. Apaak stated.
