Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expresses concern about abandoned Community Day Schools

The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, says the next Mahama administration would complete all abandoned Community Day Senior High Schools.
Addressing NDC supporters at Aboso in the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency in the Western Region, where one of the Community Day schools had been abandoned, Prof. OpokuAgyemang expressed concern that the school in the area has been abandoned by the government.
She said as Education Minister under the Mahama administration, she championed the Community Day Senior High School project to bring education closer to the people, especially those in deprived communities.
“It is therefore very worrying that the NPP government has abandoned some of the school projects, denying students from those communities the opportunity to use”, she said.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang said elections have consequences and it is imperative that Ghanaians elect Mr. John Dramani Mahama as the next leader because he has the country at heart.
She therefore urged the electorates to vote massively for Mr Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidate for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency, Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, in the upcoming December 7 general elections to bring development to the area.
