‘I’m devastated’ – Dr. Apaak mourns Sam Pee Yalley

The Deputy Minister for Education, Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, has expressed shock over the demise of the President of the Professional Forum, Ambassador Sam P. Yalley.
Ambassador Yalley passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, following a brief illness.
“Uncle Sam Pee, WHY! I’m devastated,” Dr. Apaak disclosed in a Facebook post.
The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi who announced his death in a Facebook stated “A great man has fallen; a man who dedicated his life to the cause of the NDC. It is truly heart-wrenching.”
“Rest thee well in the bosom of your maker, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley. You shall forever remain in our hearts.” Ambassador Yalley was a respected lawyer, diplomat, and public servant who held several key roles in government.
He served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority and was later appointed Ghana’s Ambassador to India by President John Dramani Mahama in 2014.
