Auditor General’s appointment extended by two more years

President Akufo-Addo by executive powers has extended the tenure of the office of the Auditor-General, Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu for two more years.
Mr. Akuamoah Asiedu’s statutory retirement is due on 1st August 2024.
But, the Audit Service in a letter says the President has extended his stay in office for two more years.
