Global InfoAnalytics funded by corporate clients – Mussa Dankwah to Bryan

Musa Dankwa
Global InfoAnalytics is funded by corporate clients and not by any NPP flagbearer aspirants, Head of Research Mussa Dankwah has said.
Speaking on TV3’s The Key Points on Saturday, Dankwah explained that the firm’s finances had been slightly destabilised due to the timing of the NPP primaries, which forced them to frontload their budget on corporate social responsibility programmes used to fund their polling activities.
“It’s been very hectic, very busy, especially when we didn’t plan to do NPP Primaries around this time, so it has forced us to frontload our budget on CSR, which we use to fund this programme. So it has kind of destabilised our finances a bit, but we are committed to doing the work,” he said.
Asked where the money comes from to fund their polling research, Dankwah clarified: “Actually, we have information on that on our website where we tell you who our clientele are, and those clientele are not sole trader businesses, they are corporate clients.”
On whether any of the NPP flagbearer aspirants are funding the firm, he was categorical: “No, absolutely not.”
The appearance came as Global InfoAnalytics released its latest polling, showing Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the lead with former MP Kennedy Agyapong gaining ground from second place.
The comments follow questions raised by Dr. Bryan Acheampong, an NPP flagbearer aspirant, regarding the integrity of the firm’s research.
Dankwah’s firm, however, has a track record of accurate predictions, having successfully forecast the outcomes of the 2020 and 2024 presidential elections.
This year, it also correctly predicted that the ruling NDC candidates would win the Akwatia and Ablekuma North by-elections.
“We rely on our corporate clients for funding, and that allows us to conduct unbiased research,” Dankwah added, emphasizing the firm’s independence from political actors.
