SONA: I will fix Ghana’s economic challenges – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has made a bold declaration to fix Ghana’s economic challenges, emphasizing his commitment to resetting the country’s economy on a path of growth and prosperity.

Addressing Parliament on the State of the Nation, President Mahama acknowledged the current economic crisis, stating, “The state of the nation is not good. Our economy is in crisis, and the people of Ghana are suffering unprecedented hardships”.

According to President Mahama, his administration’s reset agenda is designed to address the economic challenges facing the nation. “I, John Dramani Mahama, will fix the economic crisis confronting our country and reset it on a path of growth and prosperity,” he assured.

The President also extended an invitation to the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to participate in the upcoming National Economic Dialogue. “I hope members of the opposition will display love of country and participate in the upcoming National Economic Dialogue,” he stated.

President Mahama’s address highlighted the need for collective action to address the economic challenges facing Ghana. He emphasized, “It is not my style to lament and shift blame. I am therefore not here to lament, even though there is much to lament about”.
