King Mohammed VI reaffirms Morocco’s support for Gulf States following attacks on their Security

His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco has reaffirmed the Kingdom’s unwavering solidarity with several Gulf States following what were described as “vile aggressions” targeting their sovereignty and territorial security, according to a statement released by the Royal Office on Saturday.
The Moroccan monarch held a series of telephone conversations with key Gulf leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia; and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
During these calls, King Mohammed VI strongly condemned the attacks directed against these brotherly nations and reaffirmed Morocco’s full support for all legitimate measures they may deem necessary to safeguard their security and ensure the safety of their citizens.
The Royal Office emphasized that this position reflects the deep-rooted fraternal ties and longstanding solidarity linking Morocco with the Arab Gulf States. In this context, the King stressed that the security and stability of the Gulf countries are an integral part of Morocco’s own security and stability.
Any threat to the security of these states, the statement noted, constitutes a serious and unacceptable aggression and represents a direct threat to regional stability as a whole.
The declaration comes amid heightened security tensions in the Middle East and underscores Morocco’s consistent diplomatic stance in favor of regional stability, respect for national sovereignty, and strategic cooperation with its Arab partners.
