Akufo-Addo-Bawumia budget was full of self-praise – Ken Thompson

Former Chief Executive Officer of Dalex Finance, Ken Thompson, says President John Dramani Mahama’s administration has presented an understandable budget to the Ghanaians.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Mr. indicated that the 2025 budget he did not understand previous budgets by the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration.
“For the first time in nine years, they have read a budget that I can understand and which is based on data,” the former Chief Executive Officer of Dalex Finance boss stated.
He criticised previous budgets for being overly self-congratulatory and lacking substance.
“In previous budgets, I didn’t understand some of the things they were saying. It was full of praise for the government. It was full of things that the government wanted to do… It never dealt with the real issues,” he added.
